Fuels. Here are the districts where prices are more (and less) expensive

Even so, it is important to underline, in “more than half of the districts, the difference in average prices per liter of fuel does not exceed five cents per liter”, according to the ERSE bulletin released this Monday.

Although “little differentiated”, the truth is that fuel prices reveal “some regional differences”, according to the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE). For this reason, it is normal for diesel and gasoline prices to be lower in certain districts and more expensive in others.

Let’s start with the most expensive ones . “In July , the difference in value between the national average price and the average price in the Portuguese districts for simple gasoline 95 and simple diesel is generally higher in the districts of Bragança, Beja and Lisbon, and these districts continue to show more expensive road fuels , “says ERSE in the fuel market report  concerning July  and published on Monday.

On the opposite side, ” Aveiro, Braga, Santarém, Castelo Branco and Coimbra are the districts with cheaper gasoline and gas oils in mainland Portugal”, according to the energy sector regulator .

Where can we find the cheapest prices  ? “Road fuel prices were lower at gas stations operated by hypermarkets, followed by low cost ones “, underlines ERSE.

Still, it is important to underline, in “more than half of the districts, the difference in average prices per liter of fuel does not exceed five cents per liter”, according to the bulletin released this Monday.
